The TASC is the Test Assessing Secondary Completion. This is the only test recognized by the state of West Virginia for high school equivalency certification. This exam assesses five subjects: Reading/Language Arts, Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Candidates must pass the TASC Readiness Assessment (TRA) prior to taking the TASC. The exam is given throughout the year at authorized testing centers. LVHC TASC assistance is free of charge.
